ECU–Memphis Regular Season Finale Set for 4 p.m. Kickoff on ESPNU
East Carolina’s final home game of the regular season has officially been slotted for a national TV audience. The American Conference announced Monday that the Pirates’ Nov. 15 matchup with No. 22 Memphis will kick off at 4 p.m. ET inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, airing live on ESPNU.
It’s shaping up to be one of the most important games of the season for both sides, as the league standings begin to tighten entering mid-November.
Pivotal Conference Showdown
The Pirates (5–3, 3–1 American) enter the month right in the thick of the conference race — one of six teams with just a single league loss. Blake Harrell’s group has won three of its last four contests and continues to build momentum after last weekend’s 45–14 blowout of Temple.
Memphis, meanwhile, comes to Greenville ranked 22nd in the latest AP Top 25 at 8–1 overall and 4–1 in conference play. The Tigers will host Tulane (6–2, 3–1) on Friday night in a critical matchup before making the trip east to face ECU.
Senior Day in Dowdy-Ficklen
The Nov. 15 contest will also serve as Senior Day for the Pirates, marking the final home appearance for several key veterans. It’ll be ECU’s second straight afternoon kickoff following the Nov. 8 homecoming game against Charlotte, both providing prime time for tailgating and pregame festivities in Greenville.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET, with ESPNU televising the matchup nationally.
