Pirate Pulse Score Predictions: ECU vs. Campbell
It’s Week 2, and East Carolina returns home to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium after a tough 24-17 loss at NC State. The Pirates will be looking to bounce back in front of their home fans, and Campbell comes in as the opponent in what should be a chance to reset and build momentum. Here’s how the Pirate Pulse crew sees it playing out:
Trey Scott:
“Pirates bounce back big after a lackluster first half last week. I got ECU winning 52-6.”
Adam Johnson:
“42-14 Pirates. I think we air it out from the jump, let Katin get going. Think some of the running backs find their stride. Defensively, if we played like that against NC State, I just don’t think Campbell will be able to get anything going at all. Pirates dominate.”
Chance Scott:
“I’ve got ECU winning 48-7. This should be a game where the Pirates run the football and lean on their offensive line. If the O-line doesn’t control the line of scrimmage in this one, we may have bigger problems on our hands moving forward. But I expect them to take care of business and wear Campbell down over four quarters.”
