East Carolina basketball made a major splash on the recruiting trail, officially announcing the signing of Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo, a dynamic 6-foot-7 wing who brings athleticism, scoring ability, and real star upside to Michael Schwartz’s program. This is the 2nd four star recruit for Coach Schwartz.

The Palmyra, Va. native is coming off a standout junior season at Blue Ridge High School, where he averaged 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while helping lead the program to a 28–5 record. He proved to be one of the most efficient scorers in the region, shooting 38% from three and 75% at the free-throw line.

Schwartz made it clear just how significant this signing is for the program.

"Let me first say we are very excited to add Dreylan to our program," head coach Michael Schwartz said. "He is a high character young man who fits both the Pirate culture and our style of play. He comes to us from a strong program at Blue Ridge High School, playing for the well-respected Cade Lemcke. He also competed at the highest level, as one of the top shooters on the EYBL Circuit with Boo Williams AAU program. He's a dynamic 6'7 athletic, skilled wing, who can score on all three levels. He's clearly influenced and supported by his outstanding parents, Deidra and Francisco Quirindoongo. We're looking forward to his arrival to campus."

Creasy-Quirindoongo is one of the highest-rated recruits to commit to ECU in recent memory. He is ranked as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, listed as the No. 124 overall player in the country, the No. 40 small forward, and the No. 7 player in Virginia.

His success isn’t limited to the high school season. On the AAU stage, Creasy-Quirindoongo played for the powerhouse Boo Williams program and was named Third Team All-Circuit at Nike EYBL Phoenix, where he averaged 17 points, three rebounds, and 1.7 assists while showcasing his three-level scoring ability against elite national competition.

For ECU, this is the exact kind of recruiting win the program has been working toward a long, skilled, athletic scorer who fits the modern game and has the potential to make an immediate impact in Greenville. With his combination of size, shooting, and versatility, Creasy-Quirindoongo becomes a cornerstone for the Pirates’ future.
