Snap Counts: Breaking Down ECU’s Personnel in the Loss to BYU
East Carolina dropped to 2-2 on the season after Saturday night’s 34-13 setback against BYU inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The Pirates were right in it late in the second quarter, trailing just 6-3 and knocking on the door inside the Cougars’ 10-yard line, but a pair of costly interceptions shifted the entire momentum before halftime.
From there, BYU took control, outscoring ECU 21-10 after the break to pull away. Now the Pirates must quickly reset with a short week before hosting Army on Thursday night.
